Three Cheers For Annapolis Royal

The following message was on the Annapolis Royal Facebook page:

The Town of Annapolis Royal wishes to announce that it will be forming a working group that will review its Land Use By-Law and examine ways to reduce ‘red tape’ for its citizens and the business community.
Town Council has heard the concerns raised regarding some of the regulations of the Land Use By-law and wishes to assure the public that these concerns are being taken seriously. Council is devoted to being proactive and responsible given the economic reality of Nova Scotia.
Please visit the link for more detailed information. If you have any questions or concerns contact Town Hall directly at 902.532.2043.

It truly made my day.  I hope they will be a shining example to the rest of rural Nova Scotia.   Bravo, Annapolis!   We are witnessing change in progress.
